Determine the material of your Rolex watch
Each Rolex watch has a reference number that identifies your Rolex.
After disassembling the bracelet, you will find them engraved at 12 o’clock between the bandsticks.
We would now like to give you an overview of the material codes.
For all reference numbers, you can see the material of the watch using the last digit. The last digit is quasi the „material code“.
This applies from the introduction of at least 5 – digit reference numbers.

0 = Steel
1 = Yellow gold solid
2 = Steel with white gold or Platinum
3 = Steel with yellow gold
4 = Steel with white gold
5 = Gold plated or 18 Karat Rose gold
6 = Platinum
7 = 14 Karat yellow gold
8 = 18 Karat yellow gold
9 = 18 Karat white gold
