Breitling Premier 787 original condition from family ownership

The Breitling Premier 787 dates from around 1945 and has been in the family for decades.
The watch was passed down from grandfather to grandson and only recently came into my possession from this family history.

Particularly noteworthy is the authentic original condition with original dial and original chronograph pushers and case cover.
It is precisely these features that are rarely found in vintage chronographs of this era today and make the watch particularly interesting for collectors
Inside works the renowned hand-wound Venus 178 caliber, one of the most respected chronograph movements of its time, which is valued by collectors worldwide for its precision, reliability and high-quality workmanship.

The watch has been overhauled once in the course of its history at Breitling, but the corresponding documents are no longer available.
In 2024, the movement underwent a comprehensive technical overhaul.
Since then, the watch has only been stored and awaits its new owner.
