This Heuer Autavia Air Force La Pampa is one of the rarest military Autavia variants. The watch was purchased directly at the Argentine air force base in La Pampa – a location where these models were reserved exclusively for pilots of the Fuerza Aerea Argentina.

During this era, Heuer provided several international air forces with special Autavia models. This example bears the Air Force emblem and the corresponding Air Force number on the case back, which proves its military authenticity beyond doubt.

Particularly valuable:
The papers are complete, neatly stamped with “Brigada Aerea – Fuerza Aerea Argentina”, and both the reference number and the case number were entered by typewriter in the correct period – a strong collector’s feature.

The 43 mm case houses the legendary Heuer Caliber 12, one of the most important automatic chronograph movements of its time.
