The Rolex Datejust 36mm with gray dial offered here is very rare and almost impossible to find with a box and Rolex guarantee certificate from this year of manufacture.
This watch is therefore particularly popular with collectors and true Rolex connoisseurs.
The Jubileé bracelet is still the folded one and is sufficient for a wearing diameter of up to approx. 20cm.
The bracelet has slight play but is in extremely good condition for 50 years.
The clasp has been replaced over the years and, based on the clasp number, it dates back to approx. 1983.
The case is in very nice condition.
The horns have not been polished down and the appearance is almost as good as new.
No dents or scratches!
The watch really is in exceptionally beautiful condition.
I have not seen a Rolex Datejust 1601 in better condition in the last 10 years.
The watch has just (April 2024) undergone a complete overhaul by my master watchmaker according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
