The watch is in a wonderful state of preservation.

Rolex used these dials in the Datejust model series from 1979 to 1996.
There were different versions, one with diamonds and one without.
Houndstooth refers to the dial pattern that originally came from the fashion industry.

This beautiful Datejust model has the rather rare Houndstooth dial with diamonds.

Rare classic in an absolute full set.
